Tom's Bio and Company History:
Tom
Schroeder was first introduced to the water well industry during
his high school years. He began drilling wells full time in 1978,
but his education in the field started much earlier.
Tom
acquired a broad knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing skills
while helping his father, a self-employed electrician/plumber, beginning
at the early age of 4 years old and continuing throughout his adulthood.
In 1991, Tom desired
to further his education
and enrolled in the
Environmental
Resource Center
at Crowder College,
Neosho Missouri. He
graduated in 1992
at the top of his
class with an Associate
of Applied Science
in Environmental Health,
Water/Wastewater Technology.
Upon graduation, he, along with his father, Pete Schroeder, started
Schroeder Pump Company, operating a pump hoist that Tom purchased
prior to starting college. This oiginal pump hoist is still a part
of the business today. It began as a small business with a limited
customer base. At that time there was enough work to keep them busy.
Over the next couple of years, business began to pick up and it
became necessary to hire additional help. Word spread that the most
reliable, dependable pump repair business in the area was Schroeder
Pump Company. The work was rolling in. Eventually, in 1995, Schroeder
Pump Company expanded to include rotary well drilling. The new company,
Schroeder Rotary Drilling, maintains the reputation of being honest,
reliable, dependable and knowledgeable.
What started out as
a one man show, the
Schroeder Rotary Drilling
family now consists
of a full drilling
crew, plus Tom, as
well as a water systems
crew with two pump
service trucks, as
well as other drilling
support units. To

Tom and his crew can handle all of your ground water related needs,
including residential, commercial and agricultural. Let us introduce our employees.
Jason Moellman runs the rig during the drilling process and also helps with the installation of the pump and water system when needed. He is licensed as both a Driller and Pump Installer. Jason has been with the company since June, 2000.
Scott Denker is our lead roughneck on the drilling crew. Scott also has experience operating the well drill. He has been with us since 2002 and is also a licensed Driller with the State of Missouri.
Jim Wright was brought in during the fall of 2005 to assist with the installation of water systems. He does most of our water line installations as he is experienced with a backhoe. He obtained his Pump Installers license early in 2006. Since that time, he has also begun learning the drilling process by assisting when needed.
Kerry Eckhoff is the latest addition to the Schroeder Rotary Drilling family. Kerry was hired on to head up our Pump Installation/Service crew. He received his Pump Installers license in July of 2007. After only a short period of time, Kerry was able to go to the field alone and troubleshoot and repair most water system problems. He is a very conscientious, dependable component of the company.
Earl Fields owns and operates his own backhoe business. We use Earl as a subcontractor for underground waterline repairs and installations. Earl is a veteran with 24 years military experience and several years experience with a backhoe. He is also available to help us on short-handed days.
Jiniwin Schroeder, Tom’s wife, manages the office of Schroeder Rotary Drilling. Her knowledge of water wells and pumps is extensive allowing her to identify most problems over the telephone. That knowledge also allows her to answer most questions regarding the water well drilling process. Jiniwin is also licensed with the State of Missouri as a Pump Installer.
Beverly Wroten has been assisting Jiniwin in the office since June, 2006. She is quickly learning the entire process of drilling and pump installation.
